SANDI F. ROPER
Creative Technologist

digital tinkerer · parallel processor · serial side-quester · unrepentant generalist

Sandi F. Roper is a creative technologist with a habit of having several passion projects going at once.

Her interests move easily between emerging technology, photography, nature, old objects and archives, visual experimentation, local history, and whatever has captured her imagination lately.

Her professional life is spent in technology, and curiosity has always spilled well beyond it. She experiments with new tools, makes things digitally, collects ideas and artifacts, photographs what interests her, writes occasionally, and has been known to turn an interesting subject into an entire side quest.

Mountain Echoes is an independent creative project with generous room to roam. Technology, photographs, old objects, experiments, local history, unfinished questions, new ideas, and whatever else becomes part of the current orbit.

Old material meets new tools. Physical things become digital things. Ideas get borrowed, altered, revisited, and carried somewhere else. The subject changes. The connections don’t just continue. They echo.
